Meet Our Team

Family Owned & Operated

Paul & Lori began working in the coatings business over 10 years ago with the goal to deliver a high standard of service that our clients will recommend time and time again. Driven by integrity and ethics, our local family-owned business works hard to help each client through prompt and professional service. 24 Hour Floors was created to offer our clientele a designer qualify floor that can stand the test of time. With our one-day installation, we stand with pride behind the durability of these "forever" floors.

Our Concrete Coating Application Process

  • Step 1 - Floor Surface Preparation

    Grind Floor

To create a proper bond, your concrete coated floor must first be prepared for the process. We first use diamond grinders with integrated vacuum systems to create a perfectly smooth surface that is free from dust and debris.

  • Step 2 - Repair, Reconstruction, & Fixing Cracks

    Fix Cracks

To ensure your new 24 Hour Floor is installed on the smoothest of surfaces, we first will repair any cracks of your existing floor surface, using menders and fillers to repair cracks and spalls prior to applying any coating.

  • Step 3 - Polyurea Basecoat Application

    Basecoat Application

The first coat of self-priming polyurea paint is applied. This layer serves to bond the coating securely to the floor, ensuring that it won’t ever peel or raise up, even if it is exposed to intense pressure, dramatic temperature changes or harsh chemicals.

  • Step 4 - Applying Flakes

    Apply Flake

Immediately after the basecoat is applied, we scatter multi-colored vinyl flakes across the floor by hand. This provides texture to your floor and creates a highly attractive appearance. At 24 Hour Floor, we offer numerous color combinations to choose from. You can customize the look for your 24 Hour Floor to your specifications.

  • Step 5 - Flake Scraping

    Flake Scraping

After the basecoat has cured, we scrape off all the loose flakes to remove any imperfections. We then vacuum the floor surface and prepare it for the final topcoat phase.

  • Step 6 - Clear Coat Application

    Clear Coat Application

This top clear layer of polyurea paint creates a shield to protect your new floor from natural wear and tear, such as scuffs, sharp impacts, and chemical spills. Once this layer is applied, it wil be fully cured and ready for minor foot traffic within 4-6 hours. Plus, you’ll be able to fully use it within a day.
